Norway’s leading beauty center
Beths Beauty is the leading center for beauty, health and wellness in Norway. For over 30 years, Beths salons, under the lead of Elisabeth Lein Oksvik, the owner, have focused on creating a holistic well-being concept where she can offer her customers the latest in the industry. They have four physical locations in Oslo, and a medical spa.
Beths needed a redesing of their site, to offer a wide range of products in beauty, health and wellness, easily add new brands and products, and start a loyality club for their customers.
WEBSITE DESIGN
Digital makeover
SMDesign designers created a modern and simplistic design that suits perfectly for showcasing beauty products from high-profile brands. The look and feel of the website was rejuvenated through a new design language, friendly and approachable content, and an updated distinct brand identity. The result is a beautifully responsive beauty products superstore, perfectly reorganized to promote growth both online and in brick-and-mortar stores.
STRATEGIC CAMPAIGNS
SEO and PPC
Running a digital marketing campain on a language we don’t understand was a challenge that we were able to overcome with stellar results. Working closely with the Beth’s Beauty team, we have managed to idenitfy the opportunities and launch the site to the top of the search engines in Norway for many competitive search terms. This resulted in the organic traffic to the site doubling over a course of a year. To complement the SEO effort we have also started a PPC and a Shopping campaign in order to target the keywords that Beth’s is not ranking organically.
MAGENTO DEVELOPMENT
Advanced ecommerce features
We worked closely with the Beth’s Beauty team to define a complete feature set for their new site, and brainstormed ways to enhance the ecommerce section of their website. Primary focus was on the purchase journey in which we aimed to provide a flawless experience to the customers.
The previous site run on Shopify, which has proven to be limiting for the Beth’s Beauty growing needs. We completely rebuilt the site on the Magento 2 platform, and sucessfully incorporated all the client’s demands, including the intergration with Klarna payment, cutomer loyalty program with reward points, landing pages for all the brands and others.
